I’ve been looking for a quality night cream for some time, and I usually run into one to two things: 1) The price is higher than I would like to pay and 2) I’m not always sure what is in the product. So I took to the internet to find a quality DIY night cream. I gotta tell ya, some of the DIY cream recipes called for things that I’m not likely going to find in my local stores, or it drives the cost of the cream back up, putting me right back at square one. Talk about frustrating!
So I searched for skin care tools, and came across two items: coconut oil and vitamin E.
Coconut oil has multiple benefits. Coconut oil is naturally antibacterial, anti-fungal, and moisturizes your skin.
oil. At first, I thought the oil would be too expensive, but lo and behold it was only $5.18 at my local Target! I’ve also
been told you can open the vitamin E capsules, though I think the oil is a much cheaper, cleaner alternative.
Next was to find a cheaper coconut oil, and target delivered again with Lou Anna’s coconut oil. My 14 fl oz. bottle was only $3.68, making my total DIY cream at $8.86 before taxes. Today I’m going to show you how to whip this recipe together, how to store it, how long it lasts, ad what I’ve gotten out of the product.
