Atkins: Phase 2

For the last few months, Ryan and I have been slowly adjusting to our new normal on the Atkins diet. As of right now, I’ve lost 31 pounds and Ryan has lose 20+ pounds! We both are getting better sleep, are less inclined to sugary/processed foods, and have learned to make time for a good, quality meal. Of course, Ryan still loves potatoes, and I will forever love bread, but we’re getting there! The biggest question we get every month is: what do y’all buy? As I’ve mentioned in my flax seed bread recipe, I really miss carbs like bread, and needed to find a healthier alternative that wouldn’t increase my blood sugar (hello, type 2), and could also help decrease my testosterone levels. One thing I used to enjoy pre-type 2 was those cake in a mug desserts. So, I decided to make one with flax seed and voila!
